New K1A Ionized Jet Deposition source installed at CTU
The first IJD source model K1A has been installed at the Laboratory of Applied Photonics (doc. Ing. Ladislav Kalvoda, CSc.) at the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague.
It will be used for adaptive layers highly resistant to mechanical loads and radiation, active layers of radiation detectors and solar cells, and “composition maps” for high-entropy-alloy development. The deposition chamber was developed and installed by Czech Vacuum, Noivion's representative for Eastern Europe.
